Section 4
Application to be made to obtain rights over patent
: (1) A person who wants to register a patent in his name should submit an application to the department in the format as per schedule-1 (a) along with the following documents along with his proof.
(a) the name, address and occupation of the inventor of the said patent,
(b) If the applicant himself did not invent the patent, how did the applicant acquire the right from the inventor? (c) the manner of operation or use of the making of such patent,
(d) If the patent is based on a particular principle or formula, that principle or formula.
(2) Along with the application as per sub-section (1), the applicant should also file the map and drawings with the details of the patent and the application fee prescribed in (a) of Schedule-3(1).
